Our certifications and supplier requirements
Unite Fasteners holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 management system certifications issued by Bureau Veritas Certification. These cover our quality and environmental management systems for the sale, manufacture and stocking of fasteners for steel construction, ventilation and industrial applications.
Our Supplier Principles set out the minimum standards we require of suppliers and their subcontractors. They address working conditions, human rights, environmental responsibility and business ethics.

ISO 9001: Certified quality management
Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015. The certification covers the sale, manufacture and stocking of fasteners for steel construction, ventilation and industrial applications.
ISO 9001 provides a framework for managing processes, meeting customer requirements and continually improving how an organisation works. For customers assessing Unite as a supplier, the certificate provides independent confirmation that our quality management system has been assessed against the standard.
The certificate is issued by Bureau Veritas Certification Sverige AB to U-nite Fasteners Technology AB in Hogstorp, Uddevalla.
ISO 14001: Structured environmental management
Our environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001:2015. The certification covers the sale, manufacture and stocking of fasteners for steel construction, ventilation and industrial applications.
ISO 14001 provides a framework for identifying and managing environmental aspects, addressing compliance obligations and continually improving environmental performance.
Issued by Bureau Veritas Certification Sverige AB, the certificate documents the assessment of our environmental management system against the standard. The full document sets out the scope and certification details.
Clear requirements for our suppliers
Our Supplier Principles define the minimum standards we require of suppliers and their subcontractors. They cover legal compliance, honest business conduct, working conditions, human rights and environmental responsibility.
The principles require safe and healthy working conditions and prohibit child labour and forced labour. They also address discrimination, freedom of association and collective bargaining, alongside expectations for compliance with environmental laws and responsible environmental practices.
Suppliers are responsible for meeting these requirements and passing them on through their supply chains. The document also sets out Unite’s right to inspect relevant facilities and records, and the possible consequences of a breach.
